One of the most sensational ensembles of the music world can be experienced at the second matinee of the Grafenegg Festival. The Philharmonics are made up of four members of the Vienna Philharmonic, one member of the Berlin Philharmonic and an extraordinary pair of brothers.

Together they perform repertoire ranging from classical to Klezmer, gipsy and Latin jazz, always remaining adventurously classical, passionate and unconventional in the process. The seven musicians bring their classical sound, the art of phrasing and virtuosity to bear on folk music gems, ethnic inspirations and the magic of improvisation.
