The Mettis Quartet is one of the most promising ensembles to have trained recently at the Campus Grafenegg as part of the European Chamber Music Academy. The programme of their concert in the Reitschule ranges from Joseph Haydn, the father of the string quartet, to Dmitri Shostakovich, who added a substantial chapter in the genre's repertoire with his fifteen mesmerising string quartets.
