Three trumpet stars lead this varied gala that spans the centuries from the baroque to jazz. Selina Ott, winner of the ARD Music Competition, has a home advantage in Grafenegg as a native of nearby Krems. Simon Höfele is Germany’s trumpet poster boy. Legendary virtuoso Reinhold Friedrich, who has taught both, has brought new popularity to the trumpet.
