To play first violin, you need that certain something - that's as true in life as it is on stage. In this subscription series you'll be won over by three outstanding virtuosos who each radiate a strong personal expression: Bomsori Kim in Nielsen's melodious violin concerto, and Patricia Kopatchinskaja in a matinee with Il Giardino Armonico. Finally, in the third concert, the magic of the violin will unfold in Georg Friedrich Haas's Second Violin Concerto, performed by its dedicatee, Miranda Cuckson.

For over fifteen years, the finest orchestras of the world have performed in the unique atmosphere of Grafenegg. With this subscription you'll be inspired by the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra under Manfred Honeck and the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Sir Simon Rattle.
