HK Gruber’s Trumpet Concerto «Aerial» features the contemporary Austrian conductor’s typical love of surprises. Håkan Hardenbergeris soloist on trumpet and cow horn, as he was at the work’s premiere in 1999. The second part of the concert is a Romantic panorama. Gianandrea Noseda conducts the intoxicating «Symphonie fantastique» by Berlioz.
