Programme at the turn of the year

The programme of the New Year's Eve Concert is always announced at short notice so that every detail fits well with the other; after all, the last day of the year is also about carefully planning the big payoff! Nonetheless, we already know where this musical journey is headed. Beautiful waltzes, polkas and arias paired with a few musical surprises that deliberately dance out of line. In addition to the perfectly rehearsed orchestra, charismatic soloists help to ensure the New Year's Concert's success. In 2021 the soprano Caroline Melzer is here to spread the good cheer.
