For their second evening at Grafenegg, the Munich Philharmonic and their Music Director Valery Gergiev present an emotional rollercoaster of a Russian programme, ranging from the light D major of Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto to the sombre E minor of Shostakovich's Symphony No. 10. The Greek virtuoso violinist Leonidas Kavakos is the featured soloist.
