Celebrate Ferragosto with the Tonkunstler Orchestra: on one of the most important Italian holidays, Yutaka Sado fills the Wolkenturm with masterpieces to awaken your passion for the South. Ottorino Respighi is one of the great musical creators of atmosphere; in his vivid symphonic poems you can even hear the pines swaying in the wind. In the first part of the programme, the French pianist David Fray introduces himself at the Wolkenturm. For many years he’s been a guarantee of uncompromising music-making, performing regularly with leading European and American orchestras.
