Introduction/abstract

A matinée with sonatas by Beethoven, Schubert, and Brahms.

Rudolf Buchbinder · Leonidas Kavakos

SCHUBERT · BRAHMS · BEETHOVEN

Together with Rudolf Buchbinder, the Greek virtuoso Leonidas Kavakos - last heard in Grafenegg at the Wolkenturm with the Vienna Philharmonic - performs two of the most beautiful sonatas by Beethoven and Brahms. The pair of distinguished artists begins this matinée in the Auditorium with an elegant offering - in many respects reminiscent of Mozart - from the 19-year-old Franz Schubert.
