While a percussionist with the Concertgebouworkest, Gustavo Gimeno also worked as assistant to then-Music Director Mariss Jansons; he now holds chief positions in Luxembourg and Toronto. At Grafenegg he conducts music by Richard Strauss and the Violin Concerto by Brahms, featuring one of today's most prominent virtuosos, Christian Tetzlaff.
